Founding HEART Guitarist Roger Fisher Contributes Song to Zombie Lover EP

April 21, 2014, Seattle, WA – Founding member of HEART and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Roger Fisher, has contributed a bonus track to the Solveig & Stevie Zombie Lover EP. The song, Master of My Day, written by Fisher, was recorded and produced by Fisher with Whittle and Adamek in 2010, but has not been released before to the public. Fisher shows off his versatility and sensitivity in Master of My Day, with a soaring guitar solo that evokes the soulfulness of early Heart tracks.

“It’s amazing how the music industry has changed,” said Fisher. “Yet collaborating with friends to create songs with real emotion remains the essence of the business.”

Fisher and Adamek have known each other since the late 1970s. They first crossed paths at Seattle West Studios, where Heart, was recording tracks for the iconic Dog & Butterfly album. Adamek also contributed to Fisher’s song, Dear Friend (2012) from Fisher’s newest solo project, All Told. (more…)
